Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing and be proficient in assembling and installing piping systems. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring that plumbing systems are built to specifications and function effectively. The Plumber will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety. Duties • Assemble, install, and repair plumbing systems according to blueprints and specifications. • Perform construction plumbing tasks including the installation of pipes, fixtures, and fittings. • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure seamless integration of plumbing within construction projects. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. • Engage in heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing materials and fixtures. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. • Follow safety protocols to minimize risks while working on-site. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role in construction plumbing. • Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for installations and repairs. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting issues. • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team. • A maintenance person mindset with versatility in handling various tasks related to construction projects is preferred.
