Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working on various construction sites, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work meets safety standards and is completed efficiently. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform pipe threading, welding, and other necessary techniques for effective plumbing installation. • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas needing improvement. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Handle heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. • Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations. • Experience in carpentry or maintenance person tasks is a plus. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as needed. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid plumbing license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
