Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and be adept at installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently or as part of a team, ensuring that all plumbing tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. • Perform pipe threading and welding tasks as needed for various projects. • Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and requirements. • Utilize power tools safely and effectively for installation and repair tasks. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects on time. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. • Handle heavy lifting associated with the installation of plumbing fixtures and materials. • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all work activities. Skills • Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. • Strong ability in pipe threading and welding processes. • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. • Experience in reading schematics related to plumbing installations. • Competence in using power tools safely and effectively. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
