Plumber

Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings - Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems during remodeling projects - Weld and solder pipes and fittings to create watertight seals - Thread pipes using pipe threading tools - Perform heavy lifting as needed to move and position pipes and equipment - Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure proper integration of plumbing systems into building structures - Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems - Assemble and install valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures - Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and repair leaks or other issues - Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns in a professional manner Skills: - Proficient in various plumbing techniques including welding, soldering, and pipe threading - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required - Knowledge of carpentry principles to collaborate effectively with carpenters on remodeling projects - Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints to understand the layout of plumbing systems - Valid commercial driver's license for transportation of materials and equipment to job sites - Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues effectively Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
