Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency in using various power tools. The Plumber will work on construction sites, perform heavy lifting, and collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform pipe threading and soldering as needed for various installations. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. • Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on remodeling projects. • Utilize power tools safely and effectively for installation and repair tasks. • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including knowledge of pipe threading techniques. • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • A valid plumber’s license is preferred but not mandatory; relevant certifications are a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
