Plumber Apprentice

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning the essential skills required for success in the plumbing industry. Duties • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures. • Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand plumbing layouts. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. • Participate in pipe threading, soldering, and joining pipes as directed by senior plumbers. • Support remodeling projects by assisting in the installation of new plumbing systems. • Maintain cleanliness and organization on the construction site to ensure a safe working environment. • Follow all safety protocols while working on-site to minimize risks and hazards. • Develop basic math skills necessary for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and fittings. Qualifications • A strong interest in pursuing a career in plumbing or related fields. • Basic maintenance person skills with a willingness to learn more about plumbing techniques. • Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in plumbing work. • Ability to work effectively on construction sites, adhering to safety regulations. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Previous experience or coursework related to field service or construction is a plus but not required. • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals.
