Plumber

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential plumbing and possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on job sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. • Assist with heavy lifting during installations and repairs as needed. • Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs or remodeling tasks. Skills • Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. • Experience with welding and pipe threading is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Experience in carpentry is beneficial for remodeling projects. • Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions. • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as necessary on job sites. • Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable.
