Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople on construction sites, ensuring that all plumbing work meets industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing applications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. • Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites, including heavy lifting when necessary. • Provide maintenance person services as needed for additional repairs or remodeling projects. Skills • Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. • Experience with welding for pipe connections is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous. • Competency in basic math for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Experience in carpentry for related construction work is beneficial. • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required on job sites. • Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory. • Previous experience on construction sites is essential for understanding workflow dynamics. • Maintenance Person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in repair tasks.
