Plumber Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various environments, including construction sites. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, valves, and fittings. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Assemble and weld pipes as necessary for various plumbing applications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. • Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements accurately. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. • Experience in welding is advantageous but not mandatory. • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites. • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship.
