Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. • Perform pipe threading and assembly for various types of piping materials. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Handle heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Experience • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. • Experience in reading blueprints and schematics for effective project execution. • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. • Previous experience in carpentry or maintenance person roles is advantageous. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. • Commercial driving experience may be beneficial for transporting tools and materials to job sites.
