Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various insulation techniques and materials, along with experience in construction environments. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively. The Insulator will be responsible for ensuring that insulation is applied correctly to meet building codes and energy efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
• Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine insulation requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, fitting, and securing insulation.
• Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed during installation.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Assist with HVAC installations by providing necessary insulation support.
• Engage in metal stud framing, concrete finishing, masonry, and airless paint spraying as required.
Experience
• Proven experience in construction with a focus on insulation installation preferred.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills are essential.
• Experience in carpentry, roofing, stucco application, and construction painting is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating independence when required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.09 - $36.23 per hour
