Plumbing Maintenance Technician

Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. is looking for a Plumbing Maintenance Technician to join our Plumbing Service & Maintenance team! This is a commission-based service and sales role designed to generate revenue while delivering top-notch plumbing solutions to our customers. What You’ll Do: • Perform VIP maintenance calls, water heater flushes, and whole-home plumbing inspections • Provide repair estimates and present options using company pricing standards • Install plumbing work under $2,000; turn over larger projects to the Install Department • Collect payments and process financing when needed • Partner with inside sales, supervisors, and installers to ensure jobs run smoothly • Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, and permitting details Compensation: • $20/hour plus Commission and Bonus • Task-based pay for self-installed work • 7% commission on install jobs handed to Install Department Monthly bonus structure: • $50K–$64,999: 1% bonus • $65K–$79,999: 2% bonus • $80K–$99,999: 2.5% bonus • $100K+: 3.5% bonus What we Offer: • Commission-based pay + bonuses (earn more as you sell and install) • Company vehicle & gas card (business use only) • Paid training, including ongoing certifications and trade shows • Supportive team environment with career growth opportunities • Medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits What We’re Looking For: • 1–3 years of plumbing service/maintenance experience • Strong customer service and sales skills • Valid California driver’s license with acceptable driving record • Ability to use smartphone/tablet apps for sales and reporting • Team player with strong work ethic and professionalism Work Schedule: • 5-day workweek, check-in by 7:30 AM • Minimum of 3 calls per day • Even rotation for emergency estimate/inspection calls About Us: Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has been proudly serving San Diego for over 45 years.
