Plumbing Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, with hands-on experience in plumbing, welding, and the use of power tools. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, as well as the capacity to manage teams effectively while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties • Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within specifications. • Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate project budgets and timelines. • Oversee plumbing installations and repairs, utilizing knowledge of pipe threading and HVAC systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks, including assembly, remodeling, and maintenance work. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project execution. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. • Train and mentor team members in construction techniques, safety practices, and equipment usage. • Perform heavy lifting as required during project execution. • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of various construction elements. Experience • Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential. • Strong background in construction estimating, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and field service work. • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. • Previous experience working on commercial driving projects is a plus. • Ability to demonstrate maintenance person experience across multiple disciplines including assembly, maintenance, and remodeling tasks. • Construction site experience is required to effectively manage teams and operations.
