Plumbing Mechanic

United Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State, Inc. d/b/a Constructive Partnerships Unlimited (CP Unlimited) is one of New York City's largest and most wide spread Community Living Organizations CP Unlimited is currently seeking a full time Mechanic/Plumber to install new plumbing equipment, braze and solder as needed, perform minor repairs on electrical, carpentry, window repairs, wall and floor tile repairs, executes general preventive maintenance program on equipment, systems, and furnishings in apartments and facilities and Drives agency vehicle to and from assignments to take care of emergencies/routine work and deliveries. POSITIONS DUTIES • Installs new plumbing equipment. • Braze and solder as needed. • Performs minor repairs on electrical, carpentry, window repairs, wall and floor tile repairs. • Executes general preventive maintenance program on equipment, systems, and furnishings in apartments and facilities. • Drives agency vehicle to and from assignments to take care of emergencies/routine work and deliveries. • REQUIREMENTS • Two years experience in plumbing. • Valid NYS driver’s license and must be within acceptance of insurance limitations of Cerebral Palsy vehicles. • Willing to travel. • CP of NYS encourages employees’ professional growth within the organization and offers many opportunities for advancement. **** 1199 Union Benefits**** Attach a resume, cover letter and salary requirements for consideration.
