Pool Attendant/Gate Guard (Seasonal)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant/Gate Guard (non-lifeguard position) to join our team for the remainder of this summer (mid-August to end of September). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a controlled and enjoyable environment for all members and guests in the pool area. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently while providing top-notch hospitality. This is not a lifeguard position. This is a temporary position, beginning mid-August and ending at a date to be determined in September 2025 at the end of the pool season. Responsibilities • Monitor pool activities to ensure adherence to building rules and regulations. • Check in members daily and collect guest passes. • Test pool water and report out-of-range results to building maintenance. • Clean and help maintain the pool and pool deck. • Provide exceptional guest services, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including but not limited to straightening chairs, skimming the pool, and reporting spills/messes to housekeeping. • Manage conflicts effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all members. Requirements • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred. • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude. • Excellent conflict management skills to resolve issues amicably. • Responsible and dependable individuals with an attention to detail. • Shifts are - Friday 3:30PM-10PM and Sunday 10AM-4:30PM Join us in creating memorable experiences for our members this summer while at our beautiful rooftop pool!
