We’re currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Porter to join our team and help maintain the high standards of our community. Position Overview: The Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property’s common areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, and understands the importance of creating a great first impression for residents and visitors. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and exterior grounds. • Perform routine compactor trash removal, including maintaining dumpster area, garbage chute rooms, and compactor room. • Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, pressure washing, and minor touch-ups. • Support the maintenance and management teams with unit turnovers and special projects as needed. • Monitor and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. • Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and tools. • Complete daily safety checks and maintain the logs. Qualifications: • Previous porter, janitorial, or custodial experience required (residential or commercial). • Strong attention to detail and reliability. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for extended periods. • Professional demeanor and respect for residents, staff, and property.
