Porter/Groundskeeper

The Summit Apartments are currently seeking to hire a Dynamic- Full-Time Porter/ Groundskeeper for the building's 171-unit apartment building in Tacoma, WA. 6 Star Management is a privately owned management company specializing in first-class property management! The company is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven, and hardworking individual. Summary: The Housekeeper/Porter will make sure unit turns are "rent ready" for incoming residents and ensure that the property is clean, maintaining and enhancing the value of the community, and contributing to the economic success of the property. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will respond to all service requests efficiently and courteously. Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner. The Company utilizes an internet-based software called "Appfolio," where the Property Manager communicates with their maintenance employees and delivers work orders. Appfolio is accessible anywhere there is the internet. It is also commonly accessible through the Appfolio application (app) on a smartphone device. Employees will utilize"Appfolio" to report the details of work completed with pictures to the Maintenace Supervisor and Property Managers. They must ensure that all vacant units are made 100% "rent ready" for incoming tenants. Inspect and clean property including restrooms, gyms, administration offices and common areas regularly. Employees are responsible for documenting time sheets, daily maintenance logs, and other checklists. Full-Time Position Must have a current and valid Driver's License and proof of insurance.
