Job Description Summary

The Post Doctoral Fellow is an opportunity enabling Ph.D graduates gain hands-on experience in the energy transition industry at the GE Vernova Advanced Research Centre. This opportunity is in the Electrical Engineering domain with an expertise in Power Electronics and/or Power Systems. The duration of the fellowship is fixed, not exceeding 9 months.

Job Description

At GE Vernova Advanced Research, scientists, engineers and technicians work to provide GE Vernova's businesses and strategic partners with technical innovations for their future generation products, processes and services. This opportunity helps the candidate gain valuable hands-on experience and get a critical jump start on a career in industrial research. Assignments are for Ph.D graduates for a fixed period of time not exceeding 9 months. The candidates would be working side by side with experts in the field, completing complex technical projects, applying their theoretical knowledge to real-life technical problems, and developing skills in a cutting edge global environment. The program also includes seminars on cross-center technology and soft skills development as well as opportunities for networking and showcasing project accomplishments.

• Electrical Engineering : Power Electronics, Power Systems, Electric Power Physical Digital (AI/ML)
• Converter Controls, controls and drives, power system optimization, renewable integration
