Job Description

What will you do:

We are looking for a highly motivated DBA willing to experience with variety of data storage solutions to join our elite team.

As an applicative DBA in our group, you will lead data stores operations automation, this includes ensuring fault-tolerant implementation, distribution by code improvement and provide domain-specific expertise on the actual data system to other teams in the group.

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:

• At least 3 years of experience as a DBA (Postgresql / ElasticSearch applicative an advantage) ,preferably in a global SaaS company.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field / technology Elite unit alumni with relevant experience
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making and process optimization.
• Advanced experience in performance tuning and system analysis
• Experience with handling large amount of data.
• Knowledge and Experience with Installations, Backup and Restores, Monitoring rational database.
• Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool sets.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proactive by nature, internal drive for excellence and improvement.
• Ability to carry out monitoring and performance metrics analysis using common monitoring tools.
• High sense of ownership and accountability 
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to lead and influence

Additional Information

How you will stand out from the crowd: 

• Experience working with large scale data stores in AWS.
• Experience with additional SQL solutions and SQL server specifically.
• Experience in at least one programming language in Python / Java / Go / C# (Java is a definite advantage)
• Experience of AWS architecture and AWS CDK 
• Experienced with modern CI/CD tools, in GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Experience in enterprise scale application development in cloud/SaaS environment.
• Solid understanding of security and networking implementation and best practices 
• Experience of multitenancy.
• AWS Certification.
• Experience with big data
• Experience in producing quality solutions in Java / Scripting language that meet high security, scalability and performance standards.
• Proficiency in the use of JIRA
