Power Platform Developer

Anika Systems is seeking a Power Platform Developer to join our expanding Federal team. We are a fast-growing woman-owned small business providing innovative IT solutions for federal government agencies. This opportunity will be 100% remote.

As a Power Platform Developer, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining creative and scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their needs and translate them into powerful applications that empower the organization. Your primary department is to support the IT organization in interactive development and extend the power platform of an existing model-driven application. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of maintaining top certifications and will be recognized as a leader in building solutions that deliver high velocity and continuous refinement to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

Lead the end-to-end development process, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing optimization, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives.

Design and implement data models, workflows, and automation processes to streamline and enhance business processes.

You can use your expertise to drive best practices and standards for Power Platform development across the organization.

Transform ambiguous or complex requirements into tangible, effective solutions addressing business challenges.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and existing Windows administrators fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

You can stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem and recommend their application to improve existing solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Certifications are highly recommend such as: PL-300, PL-200, PL-100

Proven experience (5+ years) in designing and developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Demonstrated expertise in translating business requirements into practical and innovative Power Platform solutions (examples highly preferred)

Strong understanding of data modeling, workflows, and automation principles.

Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity.

Track record of leadership in developing high-velocity, scalable solutions.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Two years of experience mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Proven ability to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
