Power Platform Developer

About the Role:

In this role, you will spearhead the design, development, testing, and deployment of low-code business applications using Microsoft PowerApps along with automation efforts for internal apps and business processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in integrating these applications with our business systems, enhancing user experience, and driving organizational efficiency. You will play a key role in transforming our business processes by creating intuitive, secure, and high-performing applications that align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy innovative Business applications using Microsoft PowerApps
• Integrate and redesign current systems with Airtable, Zapier, SQL databases, and more.
• Seamlessly integrate applications within the Microsoft ecosystem and ensure compliance with data security.
• Facilitate data-driven decision-making by leveraging the capabilities of PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Prioritize user experience by creating applications with responsive design and intuitive navigation.
• Collaborate with operations teams to learn business processes in order to build apps and automations to improve process effectiveness.

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our application development, focusing on innovative uses of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with leaders from different departments to understand their unique requirements and challenges, ensuring that application solutions are well-aligned with overall business goals.
• Champion the adoption of Power Apps across the organization, illustrating its transformative impact on business processes and operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute a long-term vision for integrating Power Apps within the broader technology ecosystem of the company, enhancing cross-functional workflows and data utilization.
• Regularly present progress, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management, demonstrating the tangible impact of Power Apps on the business.

Qualifications:

• Proven understanding of programming principles and data structures.
• Experience with PowerBI
• Strong experience with JavaScript and Python.
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Dataverse, and the rest of the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and collaborative abilities.
• Quick learner with a keen interest in new technologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
