PR & Marketing Assistant - Germany

As we look to launch new initiatives in Germany, we are looking for a highly motivated and creative PR & Marketing Assistant based in Berlin to join our team on an initial 6-month basis with scope to extend. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public relations and marketing. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn about the dynamic world of PR and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Press:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of media lists.
• Help create and update press releases, media pitches, and media kits.
• Support participating in press conferences and various events.
• Monitor and compile media coverage and prepare reports for analysis.
• Freelance print and online magazines.

Influencer Outreach:

• Assist in researching and identifying potential influencers and partners within the industry.
• Support influencer relationship-building through email outreach.
• Monitor influencer content and provide insights for campaign performance analysis.
• Contribute to bi-monthly newsletter.

Market Research:

• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target demographics.
• Help in gathering data and insights to support marketing strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of market research reports and presentations.

Event Support:

• Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing and PR events.
• Assist in logistics, guest list management, and post-event reporting.
• Assist with any social content that may need capturing for brand channels.

General:

• Order and replenish samples/press office stationery i.e., tissue paper, comp slips etc.
• Maintain a clear stock room, always keeping top of new deliveries.
• Lead all products send outs including packaging and logistics.

Qualifications:

• Studying or recently graduated from Business School or a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
• Prior Internship experience.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
