Job Description
Title: Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Manager
Location:Remote Swamp-Based Facility, Florida
Deployment:6-8 Weeks Onsite | 1β2 Weeks Off | Housing + Meals Provided
We are staffing a secure detention facility in a remote region of Florida. Weβre looking for PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) Manager ready to deploy, live onsite, and operate in a structured, high-security environment.
This is a boots-on-the-ground mission, not a desk job. Youβll be part of a rotational deployment with full housing and meals. If youβre disciplined, reliable, and want to make a difference, we want you.
Your Mission
β’ To lead and coordinate efforts to prevent, detect, and respond to sexual abuse and sexual harassment within the detention center, ensuring full compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), while fostering a safe, respectful, and transparent environment for all individuals in custody and staff.
β’ Serves as the primary authority on PREA-related matters, driving policy development, training, data analysis, and investigative oversight in alignment with federal standards and the facility's zero-tolerance policy.
β’ Work collaboratively with fellow officers, supervisors, and facility leadership
β’ Maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress, politically sensitive situations
Requirements
β’ 2 years of direct PREA management in a State, Federal, or private Institution and with a vast knowledge of PREA documentation, policy/procedure, and proficient in filing of PREA forms
β’ 2 years as a certified correctional officer or classification officer
β’ Be able to communicate with detention staff, detainees, and nursing staff
β’ Be able to prepare and train staff in policy and procedures as it relates to PREA
β’ Be proficient in documentation, record keeping and filing.
β’ Be able to prepare and train staff in policy and procedures as it relates to PREA.
β’ Physically and mentally fit for duty in an operational environment
β’ Strong communication skills and command presence
β’ Must pass background screening and drug test
Nice to Have
β’ Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, etc.)
β’ Experience in intake, classification, or ICE/CBP facilities
β’ Prior military or law enforcement background

β’ South Florida: Relocate before starting work and for the duration of the 6-8 week rotation (Required)

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 84 per week
