What the job is:
CPI is looking for someone who has experience and/or education in agronomy operations, who can promote and support CPI’s programs and sales agronomist, process vendor orders and build sales proposals for Sales Agronomist in seed, chemicals, fertilizers and precision agriculture. The ideal candidate will have solid organizational skills, work well with others or independently, adapt to change well and be someone with a strong business mindset. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed. The Precision Agronomy Support Specialist will also ensure customers order are accurate and complete, support the agronomy division by conducting product research and build a strong foundation of CPI’s Agronomy products and services, operations contract accounting and billing processes. 

  • Associates Degree in Agronomy, Agribusiness or a related field or a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, around moving parts, fumes, airborne particles and chemicals.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking or working on a computer.
