Preschool Teacher

About us Our mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of young people through a classical education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue. We are currently hiring caring and creative Preschool Teachers to work directly with young children in a daycare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing activities that promote cognitive, language and social development. We are looking for candidates with experience working with children of this age group, excellent communication skills and a genuine love of helping others and education. The successful candidate will have experience preparing fun activities and lessons, as well as communicating ideas to young children in an engaging manner. Responsibilities: • Able to assist in the development of young children. • Motivate children to accomplish set goals. • Develop skills in literacy, math, art, and music. • Understanding of developmental stages in a child's life. • Work with other teachers and staff members to plan events and programs for children. • Make sure all classroom rules are followed by children. • Teach preschoolers cognitive skills such as language, counting, and writing.
