Press Brake Operator

Currently seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator or a large manufacturing company on the Southside of San Antonio. Pay is $25-$35/hr. depending on experience. Day shift 8am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri (also have Mon-Thurs 10 hrs.) CNC Press Brake Operator duties: • Perform press brake setups and takedowns for various production runs • Select, load, and adjust appropriate tooling • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately • Use basic to intermediate math for bend calculations, material layout, and measurements* Operate the press brake machine to bend or form metal sheets or parts * Monitor machine cycles to ensure proper functioning and product quality • Install and align dies, punches, and tools • Configure machine settings (e.g., pressure, angle, back gauge) according to work orders or blueprints • Ensure quality and consistency in formed parts • Maintain a clean and safe work area • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelinesRequirements: • Previous experience operating a CNC press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication environment • Strong understanding of bend allowance, tooling, and material behavior • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications • Must demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading and brake setup • Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, protractors, etc.) • Forklift experience is a plus • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures - open air (No AC in shop)Please call/text 210-664-2680 #vipstaffing #zrsat
