We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.
What you will contribute:
As our Pricing Analyst, you will play an integral part of our Customer Analytics team, generating quantitative outputs and actionable insights for proposals, opportunities, and ongoing programs. You will work closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to calculate and forecast costs, pricing, and profitability. You will also collaborate with our Product and Marketing teams on Uplight's competitive strategy.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $70,000
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

What you will contribute:
As our Pricing Analyst, you will play an integral part of our Customer Analytics team, generating quantitative outputs and actionable insights for proposals, opportunities, and ongoing programs. - Collect, aggregate, and analyze financial data to understand profitability, track competitive trends, and continuously improve our pricing models
- Consolidate complex pricing proposals into presentable formats, including projected revenue and margins
- Analyze quoted deal revenues and margins against actuals
- Run our models through different scenarios to inform program design and pricing decisions
- Serve as an advisor and partner to Sales and Product Marketing in developing pricing strategies across our products
- Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization including but not limited to Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing

What you bring to Uplight:
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Adept time management and prioritization skills
- Familiarity with basic financial and accounting concepts
- 2-3 years' experience in a professional environment performing quantitative work OR the ability to demonstrate your quantitative skills as part of the interview process
Bonus Points:
- Experience working on remote teams
- Familiarity with SaaS pricing
- Experience working with utility companies
