Pricing Development Analyst

The Opportunity: We’re looking for aPricing Development Analyst—a unique hybrid role that blends technical problem-solving, business acumen, algorithm development. This position is ideal for aData analyst with a finance background,looking to move into a more technical, developer-oriented role without losing sight of business strategy and customer impact. ThePricing Development Analystwill join the Pricing Strategy and Analytics team within the Risk Analytics and Data Science organization. In this role, you'll collaborate across Analytics, Product, Tech, Sales, and Finance to design and implement pricing strategies. You’ll work hands-on with our pricing offer logic code base, while also completing ad-hoc analytics. What You Will Do: • Maintain, improve, and run simulations on our proprietary pricing algorithm using Python. • Translate financial models and business logic into clean, scalable code, ensuring transparency and auditability. • Manage and deploy code releases through GitHub and Bitbucket, ensuring clean version control, well-documented commits, and reliable release processes. • Serve as a technical resource during pricing model changes and perform CI and UAT testing. • Analyze historical data to identify areas for pricing optimization and revenue improvement. • Effectively lead/manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines within a collaborative environment. • Support the efforts of leadership to ensure our data and analyses are trusted by helping to champion high standards, transparency, and regular communication with the business. Who You Are: • At least a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, data science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or physics. • 1+ years of experience as a data/pricing/financial analyst, or python developer. • Comfortable writing production-quality code in Python. • Experience with data analysis in SQL, Python, and Excel • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven presentation skills. Ability to relay information to senior management in a succinct, insightful way. • Flexible and productive in a hybrid working arrangement. What Makes You Special: • Experience in Banking, risk management, or pricing. • Comfortable writing production-quality code in JavaScript. • At least a Masters Degree in a quantitative field. • Working knowledge of Statistical methodologies. • Experience in data engineering. • Experience in developing Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
