The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level, ranging from $111,000 to $146,000
Responsibilities
Leads the development of analyses and business processes that provide Senior Management an accurate assessment of the revenue requirements necessary to maintain or improve corporate earnings for United Illuminating, Connecticut Natural Gas, Southern Connecticut Gas, and Berkshire Gas. Responsible for leading major, critical projects,
including regulatory proceedings, reconciliation filings and other
projects needed to support Company initiatives and providing support to
other departments/new personnel. Provides analytical support and advice
to meet other business area objectives. Serves as a subject matter
expert to members of the team and other departments.
This position involves the application of advanced professional judgment
and advanced knowledge / project management experience in electric/gas
revenue requirement matters. This role is expected to apply independent professional judgment and advanced knowledge to perform both technical and administrative assignments.
Major Roles & Responsibilities
• Prepare various regulatory filings for Avangrid Networks utilities in CT and MA. Examples of such filings include Rate of Return, Rate Base, Financial Ratios Report, Earnings Sharing, deferral calculations and other compliance filings.• Provide support for Avangrid Networks rate case filings including
determination of revenue requirements and rate base and assisting with pre-filed exhibits and preparation of data responses to discovery requests.• Perform financial analysis as required for Avangrid Networks
utilities in CT and MA to determine reasons for actual results variances
compared to PURA allowed amounts in rates.• Maintain historical data set of Avangrid Networks utilities in CT
and MA for various financial information including ROE, rate base, and
equity ratio.• Support regulatory research projects as required across all
Avangrid Networks utilities.• Support special projects with department expertise as needed.

Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.• Excellent organizational skills.• Strong analytical capabilities.
Education & Experience/Training:• Minimum of 7 years related work experience.• Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment and operating company business process preferred.
