The Principal Cloud Systems Engineer at CertifID will push the boundaries of innovation and further our people-first values by eagerly supporting and collaborating with the CertifID team. The Cloud Systems engineer is an IT and Security generalist what is comfortable in infrastructure technologies associated with both office and production data center environments. This candidate should be well-versed in both Cloud Platform as well as SaaS providers that mesh together to form the modern data center environment.

This position functions as a strategic individual contributor expected to solve enterprise-wide engineering problems in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is an architect level strategist who can also dive in and be hands-on in service of delivering solutions.

- Exhibit a thirst for learning, keeping up with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- High degree of competency in network architecture and engineering

- Demonstrated experience in designing scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure

- Ability to manage evaluate and manage key vendors associated with securing and managing corporate and production infrastructure

- Deep understanding of the why and how of securing modern hybrid systems infrastructure

- Preferred experience with infrastructure as code automation tools such as Terraform.

- Preferred extensive experience Identity and Access Management systems for securing products and corporate systems.

- Preferred experience designing systems at the architecture level and leading teams to execute on the associated planning

- Strong collaboration and communication skills, valuing teamwork and effective knowledge sharing with technical and non-technical team members.

- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a knack for problem-solving and optimizing complex systems.
