The Role
About the role
Arm is looking for an expert system performance modeling and analysis architect for SoC system performance using Arm IPs. You will collaborate with a brilliant team of performance architects in driving development of new high-performance interconnect IPs, optimizing infrastructure, auto, and mobile systems, and productizing models with partners in the Arm ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
What will you be accountable for?
System performance analysis and projections: Work with all lines of business to provide performance model-based analysis and partner guidance on designing optimized systems. Work with core performance teams in enabling diversity of workloads on models. System analysis for finding and improving IP micro-architecture. Engage with partners in establishing high confidence in Arm IP and systems. Work closely with internal and external teams, delivering the collateral needed to develop the highest performing systems based on Arm technology.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a strong computer architecture, microarchitecture, performance experience
- Proven experience in performance modeling, workload analysis, system performance analysis, and providing effective solutions and guidance with focus on coherent and non-coherent interconnects and memory systems.
- Proficiency in C++ programming for large-scale software development and proficient with Perl or Python scripting language skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative and open in engaging and learning new concepts and sharing with collaborators.
"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge of SystemC Transaction Level Modeling and interconnect micro-architecture design.
- Experience with performance tools-their deployment, guiding and mentoring partners and junior team members.
