Organization Overview:
The Bioanalytical Research Group (BAR) at the Lilly Corporate Center, Indianapolis, IN is seeking a scientist skilled in ligand-binding assay (LBA) development to evaluate the ADME of therapeutic proteins and new modalities such as RNA-based therapeutics and antibody-drug-conjugates.
This team collaborates with toxicology, PK/PD, protein engineering, and multiple therapeutic areas to help discover and characterize optimal therapeutic candidates to advance to clinical testing.

Responsibilities:
- Investigating mechanistic questions related to target engagement, biodistribution, and immunogenicity of therapeutic proteins.
- Serving as the Bioanalytical Project Lead for advanced projects requiring input from a highly qualified scientist on PK, PD, and immunogenicity assays. Additionally, to lead the interpretation of bioanalytical data provided to project teams.
- B.S. in biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, chemistry, or equivalent expertise, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience (or an M.S. with limited experience) in bioanalysis using immunoassays.
- Solid understanding of assay development and implementation using a diverse range of immunoassay technologies such as sandwich ELISA, MSD, and/or Gyros.
- Knowledge of the ADME of therapeutic proteins.
- An understanding of the principles and methods used to assess ADA.
- Experience in the use of flow cytometry, qPCR, and/or cell culture.
