Principal Solutions Architect (SAP)

As strategic partners in key customer accounts our Solutions Architects work closely with Sales to drive account expansion and create long-term value. As a lead SAP Principal Solutions Architect you will:

• Manage Multiple Projects: Oversee and coordinate multiple customer projects simultaneously ensuring each is aligned with client objectives and timely delivery.

• Build Relationships : Develop and maintain strong relationships with client executives understand their business challenges and aligning solutions to meet their strategic goals.

• Guide Clients Through Complex Data Challenges: Serve as a trusted advisor helping clients navigate complex data issues while designing and implementing scalable high-impact solutions.

• Lead SAP Data Migration : Design and develop data models and manage data migration from SAP systems into Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) ensuring seamless integration and optimized data flow.

• Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer expert guidance during pre-sales and project delivery phases helping clients understand the value of SAP solutions and services.

• Utilize Deep SAP Expertise: Leverage expertise in SAP modules to support data migration to modern platforms like Snowflake ensuring a smooth transition.

• Drive SAP S/4HANA Upgrades: Play a critical role in SAP S/4HANA upgrade/migration projects with a strong preference for experience migrating from ECC to S/4HANA.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data migration strategies and project objectives.

Required Experience:

• 8+ years as a hands-on Solutions Architect designing and implementing complex data platforms and solutions

• 2+ years previous Consulting leadership experience leading projects expanding customer relationships and ensuring delivery lead growth

• Expertise in a broad range of SAP modules including but not limited to FI MM CO SD PM PP SRM and CRM.

  • Proven experience in data model architecture and migrating data from SAP into EDW platforms.

  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA migrations and upgrades with hands-on experience in ECC to S/4 migrations highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake with the ability to design and implement migration processes.

  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor in both pre-sales and delivery phases offering strategic insights into SAP services and solutions.

• Programming experience in Java Python Scala or ABAP

• Solid understanding of modern data architectures including cloud platforms like Snowflake AWS Azure Databricks or GCP

• Strong proficiency with SQL and experience in writing complex queries for data transformation

• Demonstrated expertise in effectively leading and managing a team comprising Solution Architects and Data Engineers with a focus on growth through coaching mentoring and performance management.

• Proven ability to collaborate with client stakeholders technology partners and cross-functional sales and delivery teams across distributed global projects to ensure seamless and successful delivery outcomes.

• Strong relationship-building skills across practices to drive customer success.

• Ownership and accountability in resolving challenges ensuring exceptional project outcomes.

• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end technical solutions ensuring performance security scalability and robust data integration.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.

• Ability to create and deliver detailed presentations and technical documentation (e.g. POCs roadmaps sequence diagrams class hierarchies logical system views etc.).
