Private Preschool Teacher

Overview We are seeking an experienced Private Preschool Teacher to support two preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing engaging curricula, implementing effective teaching strategies, and supporting the holistic development of preschool-aged children. Duties • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, and physical education. • Create lesson plans that cater to diverse cultures, with an emphasis on Black culture • Engage in outdoor and nature-based activities. • Manage activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. • Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns. • Collaborate with parents to support strategies for children • Maintain a clean and organized home environment that promotes exploration and creativity. • Maintain a respectful and kind environment. Experience • Proven experience working with children in a preschool, home, or daycare setting is essential. • Background in early childhood education or related field is preferred; Montessori experience is a plus. • Familiarity with childhood development principles, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and parents.
