Privileged Access Service Owner (Houston, Jersey City & Charlotte)

The Privileged Access Service Owner will help devise the strategy for and oversee the tactical delivery of the privileged access management (PAM) program. This individual will own the enterprise vault services and will be responsible for protecting credentials and secrets. Additionally, this individual will lead a team of consultants executing the PAM engineering function with dotted line oversight of consultants running PAM operations. This position, internally titled "Vice President (VP), IAM Privileged Access Management" reports to the Director, IAM Privileged Access Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise related to privileged access to leaders, peers, and internal partners to drive security by design
• Keep the PAM standard current, expanding its coverage as our requirements and services mature
• Stay current on threats/risks, industry trends, and technological developments, evaluating applicability to our environment and proposing plan to execute

• Oversee effort to define, identify, and inventory privileged access within our environment and detect exceptions to our standards through automated reporting solutions
• Collaborate with other security and technology leads to improve security posture
• Establish metrics, both operational and risk-based, to demonstrate effectiveness of PAM program and help drive awareness and priorities for remediation partners
• Own the enterprise vault technologies, where privileged credentials and secrets are secured, and mature the services associated with such technologies
• Make risk-based and data-driven decisions to achieve prioritized outcomes in alignment with PAM standard

• Deliver outcomes with agile processes and a CI/CD mindset, incessantly seeking opportunities to automate
• Seeks opportunities to educate on and enforce least privilege concepts across the organization

Qualifications

• 7+ years Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience, ideally working at a medium-to-large scale company with public company operating within financial services sector

• 5+ years as a Privileged Access Management (PAM) practitioner, ideally with experience running an enterprise vault, such as CyberArk, Hashicorp, etc.
• 2+ years of management experience, coaching others and responsible for project delivery
• Experience with API calls and PowerShell scripts to extract system data with ability to summarize, report, and identify trends/outliers in data, ideally with ability to visualize these reports
• Knowledge of common IT infrastructure technologies and concepts:

• Directories: LDAP, Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, etc.

• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Unix (including AIX and Solaris), etc.
• Databases: Oracle, SQL, Postgres
• Mainframes: RACF, z/OS
• Network Protocols

• Familiarity with authentication security, such as MFA and certificates, a plus

• Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, a plus

• For positions based in Jersey City, the base salary range is $123,000-$163,000. For positions based in NYC, the base salary range is $115,000-$170,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
