Process Engineer

We are seeking Full Time Process Engineer to assist in managing, developing & improving our production and packaging solutions consisting of various printers, packagers, and assembly equipment. JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, designing, improving, and implementing engineering production solutions for our digital printing, fulfillment, and packaging processes. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager at our facility in Louisville, KY with minimal, but potential travel required to extend existing automation and support/manage new system installs at our various other facilities in Chambersburg, PA; Phoenix, AZ; and HQ in Beltsville, MD.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Learn, Support, and Optimize Processes and Production Equipment—Printing, Cutting, Assembly, etc

· Design/Develop/Discover Solutions around Quality, Throughput, and/or Capacity of Various Production Processes.

· Test, Calibrate, and Launch New Products Inside Existing Workflows.

· Collaborate w/ Leadership/Support Staff & Generate System Documentation to achieve Maximum Production Efficiency

· Aid in Change Management—Benchmarking, Validation of Improvement Efforts

· Interface with Vendors to Improve, Customize & Diagnose System h/w & Control s/w Functionality

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent relevant job experience) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.

Excellent communication skills are required to facilitate Vendor Installs, Operator Training, & Systems Documentation for our Production & Maintenance teams.
