Process Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities: 
Responsible for engineering associated with the manufacturing processes. Develops and executes operational year plan for manufacturing activities of the team. Suggests improvements in products, processes, and procedures. 
Specific responsibilities may include:

• Ensure process improvement opportunities identified through continuous improvement, quality, or other approved sources are implemented in a timely manner.
• Define and control production process including tooling, fixtures, and equipment. 
• Define alternative routings for products to accommodate capacity and capability, support planning and production team. 
• Establish manufacturing process time (routings) for manufacturing areas. Responsible for accuracy of the routings in ERP. 
• Analyze product cost and provide support for process improvements initiatives to reduce product cost. 
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. 
• Leads CAPEX projects in support of Strategy Deployment targets.
• Support continuous improvement activities: KAIZEN, Six Sigma, 6S. 
• Define Manufacturing Methods and provide training for the manufacturing team on the new developed methods. Periodically evaluate manufacturing methods and update as needed. 
• Support reviewing manufacturing nonconformance and provide support to identify root cause and potential rework processes. 
• Follows HSE requirements and helps with implementation in standard manufacturing processes. 
• Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.
