What you'll do as a Procurement Specialist
- Process purchase orders to acquire IT goods and services like subscription agreements, IT software, and hardware.
- Develop inventive and cost-effective procurement strategies, performing cost analysis and partnering with the FP&A team to improve global forecast accuracy and set benchmarks.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms while ensuring contract terms are favorable by working closely with the legal department.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with internal department leaders, external vendors, and suppliers.
- Maintain and track contract renewal dates on a weekly basis, keeping information accessible and systems and documentation updated.
- Ensure appropriate disposal of decommissioned assets and set life-cycle process end dates on all assets.
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in the same or a similar position, preferably with software licensing, data centers, and computer hardware.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level) for both written and oral communication.
- Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office and Excel.
- Detail-oriented skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in sports betting, iGaming, fantasy sports, or casino industries is considered a plus.
