Department Mission Statement: Our Marketing department plays a massive part in Commusoft's growth, powering our success with creativity and innovation. We have three key areas: Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Content Marketing. You’ll join a dynamic team of seven based in Chicago and London, working collaboratively across time zones to create impactful campaigns. Role Overview: As the Product Content Marketing Specialist, you play a critical role in executing Commusoft’s content marketing strategy. You implement product messaging and value propositions provided by the Product Marketing Manager into website copy, brochures, stands, and other marketing materials. You are responsible for creating and managing the website content for both UK and US markets, ensuring it aligns with ICP needs, SEO best practices, and conversion goals. You support Commusoft’s growth by leveraging reporting and data analysis to propose content ideas and keyword strategies that drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). Additionally, you create BOFU blog content and work closely with the sales team to produce impactful product-focused content, such as case studies and testimonials. What you'll do: Content Creation and Management • You implement product messaging and value propositions from the Product Marketing Manager into web copy, brochures, stands, and other marketing assets. • You manage and optimize website product content for both UK and US sites, ensuring clear, impactful messaging tailored to ICPs. • You collaborate with the sales team to create product-focused materials, including one-pagers, case studies,internal product training documentation. SEO and Traffic Optimization • You conduct keyword research to inform website copy and blog content strategies, focusing on high-intent keywords relevant to ICPs. • You optimize website content and blogs to improve organic search rankings and increase qualified traffic. • You use data and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, spreadsheet) to analyze performance and propose new content ideas and keyword strategies based on insights. • You develop and execute strategies to drive organic traffic growth and improve conversion rates. Reporting and Data-Driven Strategy • You regularly review content performance metrics (e.g., organic traffic, engagement, and MQLs) to identify trends and opportunities. • You propose and prioritize new content formats, blog ideas, or keyword strategies based on data analysis and SEO insights. • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute these ideas effectively and measure their impact. Team Collaboration and Leadership • You work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to ensure all content aligns with strategic messaging. • You contribute insights and guidance to other team members, offering feedback on content best practices. • You lead mid-term projects, such as the invoicing content project, ensuring clear goals, timelines, and deliverables. • You participate in adjacent projects, sharing insights and recommendations to improve team processes. Your skills, behaviours and values: • You have 3+ years in B2B content marketing, ideally SaaS • You are detail-oriented and skilled at crafting audience-focused content that can align with Commusoft’s messaging and goals • You have a data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools • You proactively identify content gaps and propose data-driven solutions to drive growth. • You have a passion for writing long form and short form content • You are proficient in SEO, with an understanding of emerging AI trends impacting search and traffic. • You have proficient experience in G4 analytics and Hubspot (or similar CRM). • You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality. • You are collaborative, providing feedback to team members and supporting sales and marketing alignment. Salary & Benefits The base salary is $65-70,000. Other elements of your compensation include: Gym membership contribution - Healthcare, Dental, and Vision insurance - 20 days of PTO + 11 national holidays - 5 paid sick days - Simple IRA (equivalent to a 401K) - Snacks in the office - Social events - Focus on continuous training and access to conferences. And you’d probably like to know that we have a hybrid working model (10 days a month in the office) but it is an open door so feel free to come in more if you'd like! Please note that for your first 4 weeks, you will be required to come in full-time 8 am-5 pm. We are based in Fulton Market, Chicago.
