Product Designer

FOSSA’s mission is to help companies accelerate open source adoption. The FOSSA platform reduces software supply chain risk at scale for some of the largest and most advanced companies on the planet. 

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join the team. The Product + Design teams work directly with both customers and internal teams to deliver real impact to our customers. 

FOSSA is a product that lives at the intersection of Security, Compliance, and Engineering.  Naturally, this role requires a large amount of developer empathy. If you love getting in the details of developer tools and workflows, then this might be a good fit for you. 

• Craft and maintain designs for UX that users love
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to design experiences that are elegant, simple, and maintainable.
• Communicate the value of your designs to a cross-functional group of stakeholders.

• You have real opinions about what makes an amazing design and a track record of realizing those opinions.
• You have experience designing for technical audiences and are comfortable living in the world of developer tools.
• You are fluent in Figma. We also use Slack, Github, Jira. 
• You have a wide range of tools to communicate ideas. Sometimes that’s FigJam, sometimes a slide deck, always tailoring to your audience. 
• You are capable of owning critical designs from ideation through delivery, pulling in relevant people where you need their input. 
• You have 2+ years of design experience – ideally at a high growth startup.
