Location: Strongly preferred Denver, CO or the surrounding Denver area. Open to remote US locations only within CA, IL, MA, MD, MI, NC, NM, NV, NY, OH, PA, TX, VT, WA, or WI, for candidates with specific industry-related experience. Must be willing and able to travel to Denver at least 2-4x per year.

Your impact:

As a Product Designer at Spekit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the platform and driving its continued success. Your responsibilities will go beyond traditional design tasks, as you will be expected to provide strategic input and lead design initiatives that align with the overall product vision. You will be the advocate for users, championing their needs and ensuring that the Spekit platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and tailored to meet their real-world requirements.

As a key member of the team, you will have the autonomy to drive change and innovation. Your focus on design quality and user-centricity will set the standard for the entire organization, inspiring others to prioritize the user experience in their respective roles. By championing a culture of continuous improvement, Product Designers will make a lasting impact on the success and growth of Spekit.

What you'll get to do every day:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to define product requirements and create comprehensive design strategies
• Contribute to and lead strategic discussions around the product roadmap and rationale for feature development based on user needs, market trends, competitor offerings, and company goals
• Own the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality, pixel-perfect designs
• Conduct in-depth user research to understand user needs and pain points
• Evolve our design practice (including our Design System), and ensure we’re working as efficiently as possible. Things change, teams change, goals change.. and we want Spekit’s design practice to evolve with the change
• Communicate design decisions effectively, incorporate feedback, and advocate for a user-centered design approach across the organization
• Keep up-to-date on design trends, best practices, growing technologies, and ways we can incorporate them into Spekit
• Work with an excellent product team:) who are open to growth, collaboration, and design-thinking

What you’ll need to be successful on Day 1:

• 3-4+ years experience working on SaaS product design (not only marketing and brand work)
• Experience conducting user research, speaking with customers, and applying user-centered design principles to inform design decisions
• Experience building and scaling a Design SystemProven track record of leading design initiatives, taking ownership of the design process from concept to delivery
• Extensive experience collaborating closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to develop product strategies and feature rationale
• Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.A strong portfolio showcasing a foundation in problem-solving, visual design, and idea generation
• Advanced experience with Figma and user research tools such as UserTesting, Maze, or similar platforms
