Product Designer

Perplexity is looking for an experienced product designer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Ship features that balance well established UI paradigms with novel applications of AI.
• Make software that feels like the future but can be used and understood by anyone in the world today.
• Work independently and strategically by finding problems and solutions.
• Design new experiences across consumer, prosumer, and enterprise use cases.
• Contribute to process to ensure we are always shipping changes you are proud of, as often as possible.
• You care about everything: product, interaction, brand, growth, copywriting, engineering, marketing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Experience designing consumer or prosumer products
• Comfortable thinking about 0→1 product design or large scale optimization
• Excellent communication 
• Experience with user growth
• Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills
• Comfortable with prototyping or coding your ideasYou care about shipping great software more than anything else.

Bonus

• Some of our design team writes production code. We welcome existing skills or interest in coding with React, SwiftUI.

The cash compensation for this role is $200,000 to $240,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
