We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Product Development Engineer. Responsibilities: • Develop software solutions for machine vision applications. • Develop image analysis software using classical image processing algorithms and machine learning/AI tools. • Work closely with other software developers, data scientists, and domain experts to understand project requirements and collaborate on AI-driven solutions. • Conduct experiments, prototypes, and feasibility studies to explore new approaches and technologies within the machine learning and AI domain. • Deliver high-quality, deployable code within specified timelines for production use. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar. • Experience in machine learning and AI. • Experience with computer vision or image processing. • Proficient in Python development for image processing. • Experience with libraries, such as OpenCV, NumPy, SciKit, etc. • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent oral and written communications. • Excellent time management skills including multi-tasking and prioritization. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar. • Programming experience in C#, C++, and .NET. • Experience in developing software for machine vision applications. • Familiarity with machine vision hardware and commercial software libraries. • Experience with developing tailored algorithms to address distinct and complex challenges. • Programming experience with FaaS and other cloud-based architectures.
