Position:Product Development Project Manager (Embedded)
Compensation:$115,000 - $135,000
Location:Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilledProduct Development Project Manager (Embedded)to join their team!
Join a leading manufacturer and consulting firm specializing in utility protection and asset management. As a key player in new product development, you'll lead projects from concept to production, manage timelines, resources, and deliverables, and contribute technically to engineering design and testing. This role offers a unique blend of project ownership and hands-on engineering, providing a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Lead new product development projects using the company's NPD process.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Contribute to engineering design and testing of new products.
• Work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Conduct milestone meetings and manage project documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to meet market demands.
• Ensure product development aligns with company standards and goals.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• 3–5 years of engineering design experience.
• 2 years of project management experience in technical/hardware/software settings.
• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Mechanical considered but not preferred).
• Experience with embedded software and firmware development.
• Strong understanding of the full NPD cycle.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience in instrumentation and battery-powered devices.

• Work is primarily based in Houston, Texas, with a flexible hybrid work environment (3 days onsite, 2 remote).
• Office located near Hobby Airport.
• Travel requirement is realistically 10–15% within the US and some international travel.
• Interview process includes 3 rounds: phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by a virtual interview.
