The Role You’ll own the customer-facing experience that makes AI-driven building risk intelligence usable for Fortune 500 insurers. You’ll transform structural engineering insights into intuitive dashboards and workflows that directly shape billion-dollar underwriting decisions. As an early engineer, you’ll work side-by-side with our founders and senior product/engineering leaders to rapidly iterate on interfaces that will determine whether major carriers adopt our platform. What You’ll Do • Design and build enterprise-grade dashboards that process millions of property records and deliver real-time insights to underwriters. • Create sophisticated visualizations — charts, maps, and analytics — that make complex engineering data clear and actionable. • Architect scalable frontend systems to support multiple enterprise customer deployments. • Collaborate daily with product designers, engineers, and founders on product strategy and interface design. • Move fast: prototype, iterate, and refine based on customer feedback. Who You Are • 0–5 years of software development experience (1–3 years ideal). Exceptional new grads welcome. • Strong CS fundamentals (BS in Computer Science or equivalent). • Skilled in React.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architectures. • Curious and AI-first: you already use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot to accelerate development. • Thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments. Nice to Have • Python backend/API experience. • Cloud (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD familiarity. • Interest in climate resilience, structural engineering, or risk modeling.
