POSITION SUMMARY
The key responsibilities of an IBP Product Manager include demand planning by analyzing demand, inventory management, replenishment order placement and tracking, and supply planning by coordinating with production departments to ensure timely delivery of products and optimizing supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Manage finished goods inventory and improving forecast models, strategies, and processes by data analysis. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal departments. Create models, analyze information and provide insight to make informed decisions about forecasts, inventory levels, delivery times and service level evaluations. Collaborate with internal departments (i.e raw material procurement, manufacturers, production plants, marketing, innovation, transportation & warehousing, and sales)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Inventory Management- Developing and implementing supply chain plans to meet demand while optimizing inventory levels and costs. Identifying potential supply chain risks and developing mitigation strategies. Coordinating with suppliers and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Create and implement process improvements to improve order fill rates, reporting formats and maintain optimum inventory level while streamlining plant production, including but not limited to, IT, sales, accounting, transportation & warehousing, and procurement.
• Forecasting/Planning- Consistent communications with sales and production team to ensure product order is produced/filled; ensure orders are filled with minimal shortages; maintain adequate inventory and production level for orders; manage the process of service level, material coverage, inventory and production control.
• Data Analysis -Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Preparing reports and presentations to communicate key insights and recommendations. Gather and maintain data requirements for forecast; report the variances; forecast monthly, quarterly and annual variances in collaboration with sales and IBP Demand team; revised forecasts; forecast production schedule based on models and data; communicate schedule, changes and forecast issues with internal departments. Communicate potential shortages or delays with sales, transportation & warehousing in advance.
• Collaboration –Building strong relationships with stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor. Effective data driven communications to allow collaboration with business partners; Procurement, Sales, & Production to plan efficiently to meet customer demand and achieve KPI’s.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Accounting
• Three (3) years’ of Management experience, Scheduling, Inventory Management
• Product management experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Accounting
• Five (5) years’ experience in meat industry
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA’s)
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Working knowledge of sales, marketing and demand planning
• Knowledge of the principles of optimization and how optimization is performed using software packages
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, proficiency with Data Analysis, Pivot tables, and complex graphs
• Familiarity with network optimization, inventory optimization, product flow analysis, operations planning, and cost to serve analysis.
• Knowledge of product management methodologies, concepts, processes and documentation.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work independently
• Possess strong analytical skills in reviewing data to identify trends and opportunities
• Knowledge of supply chain functions, forecasting tools/software
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines through sound project management, prioritization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
COMPENSATION

· This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations
