Q Analysts, a Qualitest company, is seeking a Technical Project Lead to join our client's Core Technologies team. Our client's team applies a range of software, computer vision and AI techniques to build systems and tools.

The Technical Project Lead will run regression testing of tracking systems and algorithms by establishing test plans, regularly test releases of system software, and provide structured reports of the findings. Candidates will also help coordinate logistics and initiatives focused around hardware setup and demo efforts for the various technology teams, which will involve managing a range of tasks related to hardware, software, people, equipment and peripherals, planning travel and logistics, as well as walking participants through the demos and answering questions.

Requirements

Strong background in project management or project coordination.

Good planning and execution skills

Ability to multitask effectively

Effective verbal and written communications skills

Some technical knowledge with scripting languages like Python to help troubleshoot issues with hardware and software - command line work

Strong extroverted personality and excellent interpersonal communications skills

Ability and willingness to drive technology demonstrations, including comfortably talking to stakeholders, answering technical questions and providing a positive demo atmosphere

Ability to take initiative and own a problem through resolution regardless of blocking dependencies. The candidate should be able to unblock themselves where reasonable.

Experience working in fast paced changing environments

Good documentation skills for reporting, status updates and written communication

Ability to learn new tools that are built in-house

Ability to work independently.
