Product Lead

We're looking for a senior product manager to lead the development of products that touch everyone on Co–Star. As a Product Lead, you’ll own our Core Product squad by defining and building fresh consumer-facing features and products. You’ll help tens of millions of people connect to each other and themselves – through astrology – in real, meaningful ways. This is a full-time position reporting directly to our CEO. You can be remote (USA-based only) and/or work from our New York City headquarters in SoHo. Travel to NYC may be required up to 13% of the year. 

What you'll do

• Partner with our CEO to define the product roadmap for our core product
• Collaborate daily with engineering, design, content, and data science to build intuitive and compelling features and products
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in partnership with our design and research teams
• Define product metrics, requirements, and (long-term) internal access to data

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of work experience developing and launching new consumer-facing products
• 8+ years of experience in a product management role 
• Demonstrated ability solving problems using first principles thinking 
• Consistent record of agile experimentation, launching lightweight tests, and working with cross-functional teams
• Deep empathy and a keen eye for social/cultural trends
• Comfort in both the nitty gritty details of managing A/B tests (bonus points for SQL), along with the capacity to imagine and execute the long term vision of social products at Co–Star
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly around explaining technical concepts to a broad audience

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000. This salary range may include multiple levels and your level is based on a variety of factors including your qualifications, experience level, and skillset. Our total compensation package includes salary, equity, healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision coverage), 401(k) with a 5% match, and an unlimited PTO policy.
