Product Management High Tech - Intern (AI/ML focus)

Model N is looking for college students (who have completed their junior year) ready to jump start their career exposure with an internship. We offer unparalleled hands-on experience working in an exciting yet challenging industry. You will have the opportunity to get to know the other Model N interns and participate in workshops and trainings designed just for you and your peers. In addition, each week there will be time for additional learning through LinkedIn Learning on topics to help you develop your skills and business acumen.

Objective: Run Ai/ML research for Price Optimization use cases and support modeling work. We are looking for a more technical product manager intern who has experience in AI/ML studies or projects to help us build pricing models. 

Outcome: Identify if we can use AI/ML efficiently to build an early POC model specific to price optimization (deal price or price list use case). If we succeed, this will be used as a basis for supporting the HT NPI hypothesis we have. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop an AI/ML model
• Join scrum meetings
• Create stories in Jira
• Provide updates on project progress
• Learn the business reasons for our price optimization hypothesis regarding AI/ML

Qualifications:

• Familiar with AI/ML models or has done an AI/ML projects 
• Technical skills from a computer science or engineering background or prior experience with AI/machine learning 
• Strong communication skills 
• Team player 

Compensation:

• This position will be paid hourly within the range of $20-$22/ hour.
