Position Summary
As a key member of the digital product management team, you will be responsible for the strategic vision and execution of initiatives aimed at one or more components that are part of Natera’s test execution software responsible from sample to report. A key aspect of this role will be the development of a real-time laboratory recommendation product for patient orders.
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the roadmap planning, implementation and delivery of complex features to support core capabilities and cross-functional projects. By partnering with other product and technical teams, you will identify new needs, build technical alignment and build a solid platform foundation and scalable system.  Â
The ideal candidate will be someone who can navigate a fast paced environment while demonstrating strong analytical and technical skills. Â
Primary Responsibilities

Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy for one or more components of the company’s test execution software suite, aligning with business objectives.Â

Create and maintain a roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements that enhance the handling of clinical orders.Â

Data Governance and Integrity: Oversee the establishment and enforcement of data governance policies and practices to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across the organization.

Lead strategic development and enhancement of our platform focusing on Product configuration and master data management.

Partner with engineering teams, product managers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure cross-alignment and successful delivery of product initiatives.Â

Drive projects from inception and discovery to delivery and post-launch support

Manage the backlog of requests and features and prioritize it accordingly

Accountable for high quality, solid documentation of functional and technical requirements, KPIs, success metricsÂ

Participate / Facilitate scrum ceremonies and help define technical solutions with on-shore and off-shore scrum teams

Analyze relevant data to drive decision-making and inform future roadmaps

Establish key processes to increase team velocity

Partner with QA teams to align on quality benchmarks
Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelors in Computer Science, Molecular Biology, or related field
-
3-5 years of experience in product management
-
Validated experience in the development of robust product requirement documentation for highly performing applications or backend systems

Experience with IBM Product Master
-
Strong technical skills: comfortable with APIs, databases, monitoring tools (DataDog, Sumologic), workflow orchestration (Temporal), and DMN rules engines.

Experience working in an agile development environment

Prior experience leading and influencing remote engineering teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Proven ability to work and influence cross functional teams; effective at building rapport with key stakeholders

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Flexible, and agile; willingness to tackle any type of challenge; highly motivated to roll up sleeves and get work done while also thinking strategically

Bonus: familiarity with lab products, molecular biology workflows, bioinformatics pipelines
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
